lo Scarabeo introduces a new line called Old Cartomancy. These decks harken back to a time when ordinary playing cards were used for Divination. This deck, the second in the series, is illustrated with scenes of Medieval life. Each suit carries a different theme - romance, hunting, trade, war - to give a wider range of meanings and interpretations for fortune telling. Consistent with cards from Southern Germany in the 18 century, the deck contains 36 cards with suits of Acorns, Leaves, Hearts, and bells. The deck is housed in a sturdy 2 piece book. cards measure approximately 3" X 4 3/4"
